Greetings Hawks Family,

It is an honor to serve as the Principal of Harahan School. I would like to express my gratitude for allowing us to lead your children into a brighter future. 

Harahan has so much to offer students and families. At Harahan school our students feel safe, loved, and are challenged to excel. We have great teachers and staff members who provide standards-based instruction through the use of high quality instructional materials. This allows our students to think critically and problem solve independently.

Our theme for this school year is “Let’s Grow, Let’s Soar”.  As we look forward to tremendous growth, we really need your support to reach our goals. So, please join us in soaring high with the HAWKS! We are pleased to already have such strong partnerships with parents and community members. Our Parent Connection Nights allow parents to join in the learning through fun and innovative lessons with their children. Teachers have active Google Classrooms to ensure the learning resources and assignments are accessible to all students and families.

I encourage you to check the student progress center regularly, schedule conferences whenever you have concerns, and ask your children to share their school experiences with you daily. We are all partners in ensuring the best for our students.
