Greetings, Hawks Family!

It is an honor and a privilege to serve as the Principal of Harahan School. Thank you for entrusting us with your children and allowing us to partner with you in preparing them for a bright and successful future.

At Harahan School, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, supported, and challenged to reach their fullest potential. Our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to providing high-quality, standards-based instruction through the use of rigorous, high-quality instructional materials that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, collaboration, and a love of learning.

Just as every instrument in a band plays an important role in creating beautiful music, every student, family, teacher, and staff member plays a vital role in the success of our school community. By working together with a shared purpose and commitment to excellence, we create a learning environment where every Hawk can thrive.

We value the strong partnerships we have with our families and community. Throughout the year, we will continue to provide opportunities for parents to engage in their children's education through Parent Connection Nights, school events, volunteer opportunities, and ongoing communication. Our teachers also maintain active Google Classrooms to ensure that instructional resources, assignments, and important information remain accessible to students and families.

I encourage you to regularly monitor your child's progress through the Student Progress Center, maintain open communication with your child's teachers, schedule conferences whenever questions or concerns arise, and talk with your child each day about their learning experiences. When families and schools work together, students achieve their greatest success.
